Broadway Cares Auction Bway 2005 Tony Awards host Hugh Jackman signed playbill Every year the Broadway Theatre season officially ends with the June televised annual presentation of the Antoinette Perry Awards (aka Tonys). This past season's year's awards have just been handed out so what better time than to feature this hard to find Tony item. Hosted by Hugh Jackman, 2005's 59th Annual Tony Award Presentation was telecast live from Radio City Music Hall and celebrated a year that included such "bests" as "La Cage Aux Folles", "Glengarry Glen Ross", "Doubt" and "Monty Python's Spamalot", a season which proved to be a very lucrative one for Broadway both financially as well as artistically. The awards themselves are a veritable who's who of stars from stage and screen and that year was no different. In no special order, performers, presenters and accepters that year included Chita Rivera, Angela Bassett, Marcia Cross, Nathan Lane, Billy Crystal, Benadette Peters, Doris Roberts, Tony Shalhoub, Sandra Oh, Jesse L. Martin, Harvey Fierstein, Joan Allen, Idina Menzel, Sally Field, Ethan Hawke and that year's host with the most, Hugh Jackman!
