Broadway Cares Auction Bway Cares LA CHESS Glee's Morrison cast signed poster One of Broadway Cares' most anticipated events is the annual Flea Market and Grand Auction which takes place every September (this year it is Sunday, September 25th in Times Square and along West 44th Street. Many theatrical treasures can be found IF you are lucky enough to be in Times Square on that date. In an effort to reach out to those who are not able to make it into New York City but want to feel as though they are a part of the fun, we are running our sixth (hopefully annual) special "FLEABAY" auction through the month of September featuring at least 100 items that are typical of our true Broadway Flea Market finds. From authentic costumes to unique opening night gifts, from scripts to rare posters, many items featured are the only ones we have received. Here is your chance to get in on the "auction action" from the comfort of your very own home. To accommodate as many items as quickly as possible, these items will have a more brief description than our usual eBay items. The creative team of Brian Mitchell Purcell, Dan Redfield and AC Ciulla, assembled some of Broadway brightest lights in concert to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Staged at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, the cast featured Kevin Earley (A Tale of Two Cities), Susan Egan (Beauty and the Beast's orginal Broadway Belle), Thomas Griffith (Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), Cindy Robinson (Carousel), Tom Schmid (Annie Get Your Gun), Ty Taylor (JASON AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT) and star of South Pacific, Light in the Piazza and television's smash hit, “Glee,” Matthew Morrison, are just a few of the cast members who have signed this rare 13.5" x 20" poster.
