Broadway Cares Auction Bway Chita Rivera autograph Sweet Charity benefit purse Measuring 8" x 6", this little black leather purse is the perfect complement to the little black dress and its been signed by the LEGENDARY CHITA RIVERA, who has even added her usual flower below her signature. Always donating her time to Broadway Cares, Chita wore this purse onstage during BC/EFA’s 1998 All Star Sweet Charity Benefit. Each actress who portrayed the leading role was given a small black bag such as this to use in the show and Ms. Rivera has made it even more special by signing it!Chita recently delighted audiences with "Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life," which premiered December 11, 2005 and explored her 50 years on Broadway, which included (as if you didn’t know) such classics as "West Side Story," 'Chicago" and "Kiss of the Spider Woman." Still going strong, she’s co-hosting our BC/EFA’s Latin Rhythms Event coming up on November 20th before takign her own show out on tour Happy Bidding.
