E.C. Atkins #53 cross-cut saw. Blade is 26" long, 2-3/2" at the toe and 6-5/8" at the heel. Overall length is 29-3/4". The blade is 8 PPI. I jointed, sharpened and set the teeth. I sharpened the teeth at 18 degrees rake and 20 degrees fleam. The saw cuts quick and straight. Blade is in good condition, straight with no rust, just some minor areas of staining. It is taper ground measuring .037" at the tooth line and .027" at the top of the toe. Etch is faint. I can make out Silver Steel & Patented July 7-1896. The handle is in really good shape, no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The saw nuts are brass and chrome plated. 5 day no reserve.
