Up for auction is this superbly turned piece of North Carolina Pottery Out of the C.R. Auman shop from around sometime in th early 20's. Thin expertly turned lip let's the attributation to Wrenn Cole an easy one. Pot measures 6 1/2" tall and 8" wide in absolutely wonderful condition with no hairlines or repairs with only two miniscule flakes. One on the rim and one on the body. Beautiful cobalt accents highlight the clear [buff] lead glaze. Found outside Asheboro N.C. with a wonderful collection of Auman Pottery includind a signed Auman dirtdish which I may list later.
