A seventeenth century Italian oil portrait on canvas along with a fragment of another 17th century oil showing a basket of figs. The portrait has been cut down from a larger painting and measures 8.5" x 9.25".It is unlined and in need of proper restoration. There is a hole which measures about 1" x 3/4" along with an area of paint loss at upper right and general abrasions and overcleaning. It is a nice portrait that probably dates to around 1630 and would look great when restored. The other painting is a fragment that measures 7 3/4" x 8.5" and it has been lined onto mylar. There is a spot of previous restoration near the top of the basket that needs to be touched up.Shipping will be 10.00 in the US and 30.00 international.
