C18, GRAF ZEPPELIN AIRMAIL SPECIAL CENTURY OF PROGRESS FLIGHT COVER Very scarce 50 cent Graf Zeppelin Airmail Special Cover from the Century of Progress, Chicago to Friedricshahafen to New York Via The Graf Zeppelin. The stamp is in very fine to ex fine condition and beautifully centered. The envelope carries all the proper markings as follows: FRONT: Postmark from Chicago with the “CENTURY OF PROGRESS CHICAGO JUNE 1-NOV 1 1933” postmark; Endorsement “Via Graf Zeppelin/ Chicago to Friedrichshahfen” and the “GRAF AEPPELIN FLIGHT” stamped Cache. REVERSE: The Graf Zeppelin postmark dated Noveber 2, 1933 from Friedrichshahfen and the G.P.O. Postmark from New York dated November 8, 1933. The envelope is UNOPENED AND IN VERY FINE CONDITION. This special cover is everything you would want it to be.
