An original page fragment of flimsy paper laid down on later backing with a series of hand-written notes and the words "Autograph of Dr Parr". On the reverse the original owner has noted "Samuel Parr, 1747-1825 Pedagogue. Scholar" (see below) The original notes are difficult to read but appear to be a diary of events. This piece was part of a large collection of 19 th. century correspondence amongst ecclesiastical personalities that was sold at auction in 2006.
