STONEWARE HERALDIC JUG WITH PEWTER MOUNT & COVER Relief moulded stoneware jug with heraldic decoration including the Royal Coat of Arms, Prince of Wales Feathers, England /Ireland/Scotland/Wales etc. Impressed Backstamp - W.B. Cobridge - Albion - 30 - (diamond registration mark dating to 1863) Pewter lid with hinged thumbpiece is stamped James Dixon & Sons Sheffield 18. Size - approx 7 inches high. In extremely good condition, no chips, no cracks, or nibbles. A couple of very minor crease type production flaws, one to the top left handle join 2mm, the other in the middle of the bottom handle join 4mm. Pewter mount a little loose, otherwise mount, lid & thumbpiece in extremely good working order. Outer stoneware is clean, no discolouration, glazed inside is just starting to discolour at the bottom. I am happy to combine postage on multiple purchases to cut down on costs wherever possible. All items posted within the UK will be sent by recorded delivery, with tracking, or with proof of postage.
