The print is a hand-colored lithograph printed circa 1871.The sheet measures 15 X 11 inches and is in poor condition due to a 2" repaired tear on the top edge, small losses & chipping along the edges, age toning, several dark stains, damp stains, andThe image is titled : " Taking a Smash."It is inscribed under the image: " Published by Currier & Ives 125 Nassau St. New York."There is nothing printed on the reverse side.This is an antique print guaranteed to be over 140 years old.
