C1877 ENGLANDRS&R CRANES BLACK TRANSFER IRONSTONE PLATTER/PLATE Description : The mark: Indus (pattern) RSR (Ridgway, Sparkes & Ridgway) June 15 Rd (Registered) 7 p m in 1877 Hanley, England. Cannot be more precise than that! It matches a pedestal bowl also listed. The under-plate is just as beautiful as the bowl--it does have overall crazing and t is a base rim chip, otherwise in excellent condition no cracks. This would be a "married" set--the inside rim does not match the bowl pedestal but is do-able and can be used together.
