Please see my other auctions for the rest of this collection as well as other interesting antiques. is a 19th century--circa 1880 or so--Vienna time and strike regulator clock. The walnut case measures 49 inches high from finial to finial. The clock case is heavily carved as you can see in the photos with fancy columns, finials, etc. T is a hinged front door that opens up to reveal the pendulum, weight, and white porcelain and brass dial. The movement is an 8-day time and strike affair: that is, the clock will run for 8 days on a complete winding and the clock chimes and counts the hours on a rod at the back of the movement. The condition of the clock is as follows. The clock is 100% original and has its original weights, pendulum, and winding key. The wood case is in excellent condition with the exception of some worm holes which only add to the charm and look of this antique clock. The heavily enameled porcelain dial has a hairline crack between the 10 and the 11. One of the brass weight covers has a small dent in the case--insignificant, but t The clock is a strong runner and keeps good time.
