These hard to find bronze figural card receivers were produced in the late 19th C. by the Russell & Erwin Mfg. Co arguably one of the best builders hardware makers of that time. These were probably used at a retailer counter to hold business cards. Bizarre subject with the Devil covering himself with a sheet with one human foot and one hocked foot protruding from the covers along with the pointed tail. Old tarnished finish with no damage or repairs. Marked on the back in the casting. Measures 6" x 4". Please do not checkout or pay until you receive my invoice notification.
