c1900 detailed atlas map of New York & Environs You are bidding on an original map of New York and Environs dating from c1900. The map was published by Cassell & Co. of London and was drawn by F. S. Weller. It is very detailed, showing and naming all the streets and other features. The coverage area extends from West Brooklyn as far north as Englewood and Mount Vernon. The map measures 11" x 9" (approx 28 x 23cm.) with a good border on all sides. It would look very attractive matted and framed.The condition is very good, with no age discolouration or foxing. There are no tears or creases, apart from a horizontal crease to the bottom border.I am in the process of listing several maps from the same source. Multiple maps may be combined for reduced postage. Extra information: Payment is due within 5 days of an auction ending. If you are waiting for other items to end, please let me know.
