This auction presents a very impressive HEISEY glass trumpet vase. I believe the pattern is the Colonial #353 Medium Flat Panel but I'm definitely not an expert so any help appreciated. The vase is decorated with a deep cut grape and vine or vintage design. The motif is repeated even on the bottom of the base. I don't know if the cutting was done by Heisey or one of the famous glass houses of the early twentieth century. This large vase is 15" high, 5 1/2" across at the top and 5" at the base. It is double marked with the maker's "Diamond H" on both sides of the stem. This piece is in excellent estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs noted. The only flaws I find are a really tiny nick under the top rim, minor roughness on the edge of the rib in the grape leaves and some shelf wear on the bottom. These imperfections are not at all distracting but please see the photos to evaluate. A hard-to-find example of early HEISEY glass and perfect for a collection! The cost of U.S. insured shipping and very careful packing varies with your postal zone--see estimate above.
