A very rare early 1900's German pressed tin Mechanical toy. It is Hand painted & held together with little tabs. When it is wound up; the right arm goes round & turns the Hurdy Gurdy music - which sounds like a The Dog on top rotates at the same time. The spring & motions are still very strong. The head is meant to nod but I can see a loose wire inside which has become detached from the weighted head. (Should be possible to re-attach). Overall in very good condition with just some minor paint chipping. It may or may not be by Guntherman as other german factories made similar items. Measures approx. 8&1/2" (22cm) high. P&P. must include Insurance.
