Offered for bid is a matching set of two light blue two handled Weller vases in the Cameo Rose pattern. These vases were made in the 1930's in matte finish with white Cameo Rose in relief. The bottoms are marked with incised "Weller" in script under the glaze. One has a dark brown "A" and the other has what seems to be a dark brown lower case "h" hand written on top of the glaze. I think these are the artist's marks. These vases are 6-1/2 inches tall, 4 inches wide at the widest point, and weigh 1 pound 1.0 ounces (482 grams) and 1 pound 0.1 ounce (457 grams) respectively. The vases are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, repairs, or glazing anywhere on the finish. I found two little gouges on the bottom rim of one of the vases (photo #5 at about 2 o'clock shows the largest one.) I mention these only for accuracy, because they are in fabulous condition for their age. There is no reserve for these vases and remember you get two vases for your bid. Make sure to check out a matching vase in salmon color that I have listed. If you have any questions, please inquire before you bid. I will answer them promptly and as accurately as possible. We ship by USPS Priority Mail for most items, however we will ship USPS Parcel Post for heavier packages to save on shipping. Items weighing less than 13 ounces will be shipped by First read more
