This is a c1950 Draftsman's, Charles Bruning Company, No. 2477 "Prospect-O-Metric" Measuring Instrument. It Includes: Two-Lever ~215 degree Swing-Arm Measuring Scales Four Clamps w/Bakelite Pulleys 94" Stretch Cable 128" Stretch Cable Original Box that has No. 2477X on the Label Allen Wrench Two Thumb Screws The Most Recent Patent Number is 2454388 which Corresponds to having been Patented in 1948. The Center Scale has Measurement to 12" and 1/32" and 1/64" Markings. The Two Side Scales Decrease in Length Between the Numbers and have Marking in 1/8ths and 1/10ths and has 16 as the Longest Length. The Ends of the Side Scales have the Clips. Two of the Bakelite Clamp Wheels have Chips but are Still Useable. The Cable Lengths are Measured Unstretched. The Instrument and Parts are in Excellent Condition. The Box is in Poor Condition. The Instrument has a Horizontal Swing Lever and Slot under the Two Lever and May Indicate it Needs another Part, not sure.
