I have recently bought a small collection of artwork by Julio De Diego from a local estate. All the pieces will be listed here on eBay and all sold with no reserve. Please see my other listings for more pieces from this collection. This listing is for a signed Spanish American modernism abstract figural drawing on paper by Julio De Diego. The drawing is on paper and is unframed. It measures 18 1/2 by 24 inches or 47 by 61cm. This very cool conte crayon drawing features a large abstract style bird standing on top of a plane flying through the clouds. The drawing is all black and white and has excellent attention to detail. It is signed in the tail of the plane "DE DIEGO 51". This is for the Spanish born American artist Julio De Diego (1900-1979).
