You will be bidding on a c1960 Parker 51 MKIII Fountain Pen+Converter Desk Pen finished in Black, mounted on a Whitefriars Blue Glass Stand with Brass Trim in Good to Very Good Working Order. The Parker 51 MKIII Fountain Pen is in very good condition, there is some slight tarnishing to the brass end, and their appears to be some rub marks on the black grip section, shown in picture 5. The fountain pen comes with a Parker branded Stainless Steel Converter, displayed in picture 6-8. Picture 5 illustrates the hooded gold plated nib in very good condition. The brass mount of the base, shown in pictures 3 is in acceptable condition and lets this nice item down, the brass has completely tarnished and there is one significant dent present, clearly engraved is the word "Parker" along with the Parker Halo. The black plastic holder for the pen is displayed in picture 1 and 2, clearly imprinted on it are the words "Parker,"in gold, the gold section is in very good condition.
