You will be buying a c1970-75 Sheaffer Imperial Cartridge Fountain Pen, finished in Burgundy with Chrome Plated Trim in Very Good Spares and Repairs Condition. Barrel+Cap Both the burgundy barrel and cap are in good condition with only very light surface marks and scratches present, consistent with age and use, as shown throughout the pictures. Around the rim of the cap, shown in picture 3 the words "Sheaffer Made In USA," are clearly engraved, also around the top of the barrel the words "Sheaffer Made In USA," is also engraved, partially shown in the same picture. Pocket Clip The chrome plated pocket clip displayed in both pictures 1 and 2 is in excellent untarnished condition, the white dot is also in excellent condition, it sits straight and firm to the cap. End Trims Both end trims, shown in picture 4 and are in good condition, there appears to be light bite marks to the end of the barrel. Nib The stainless steel nib is in very good condition, displayed in picture 5. Clearly engraved the words "Sheaffer USA." Refill Inside the barrel is where the problem lies, there is half an ink convertor with the other half I can only assume has been snapped off?!
