... ClicPic Gallery Software. Flint Diamond Point Bulb Top Decanter 1800's? Note: This is a great item - from an elderly couples estate. This Decanter measures about 8 1/2" tall by about 4" across at widest. It is very old from what we were told at the estate auction - they said about 1800's - guessing mid 1800's but not sure. It is a FLINT DIAMOND POINT - heavy glass decanter - the original stopper is missing. This has a beautiful pattern to it - and there are only a couple places where the diamond points are 'rough' - not sure what caused this - if it is original or from nicks - we looked - its tough to tell, harder to photograph - but look - we tried to get them on the photos. The bottom 'edge' is faceted, similar to cut glass - but not sure. There are some scratches on the base of the bottle / decanter. See photos for more detail son condition and pattern.
