Antique Ca. 1880's Bar Pin With Fly Fly containes 8 Rose Cut Diamonds which make up the two eyes and the 2 wings The body of the Fly is made of Two Garnet Topped Doublets. One is Red (looks like ruby) and the other is Green (looks like emerald). The Fly measures approx. 15 milimeters X 12 milimeters The Pin measures 53 milimeters long T is also a safety latch on the pin hook The stones are Bead Set and the legs of the fly are all carved The Fly is 3 Dimensionally designed and has workmanship on all sides T is a Hallmark above the 14KT stamp which is best described as back to back fish hooks (couldn't get a picture of it) Pin weighs 4.4 grams Rose Cut Diamonds measure between 1 and 2 milimeters in diameter Green Doublet measures approx. 4 x 5 milimeters, Red Doublet measures approx. 3 x 3 milimeters. Both are Cushion Shaped. This is a beautifull antique pin and very finely crafted. It is a great piece for all collectors of old bug pins. It is in EXCELLENT condition. All the stones are very bright and brilliant and the pin clasp works perfectly. I only accept PayPal as payment method and only ship to confirmed PayPal addresses.
