This is a nice old stoneware pitchermade by Whites Pottery in Utica, NY. It has a bark type raised texturesalt glaze back ground with a embossed rose branch in a soft cobalt blue on both sides. Condition is "as found" with a tight crack running down the front into a 3/4 round stress line along the bottom front. These are not really noticable from the outside unless you look closely but can be seen from the inside. T is also brown speckled discoloration and t, see pictures. And a very small shallow flake on the top edge. This piece dates ca 1890 is would be a nice addition to your collection of stoneware....a shelf piece. It measures 7" high.
