For bid is an original circa 1920's DeVilbiss Perfume bottles catalog & advertising booklet, a small pocket booklet with wonderful color illustrations of beautiful women and the fancy perfume bottles of the age. This booklet advertises "Perfumizers and Perfume Lights." Including the covers, this booklet has 12 unnumbered pages and is bound with a single metal staple. The front cover shows a beautiful woman examining a fancy perfume bottle on a small tray. Several bottle styles are displayed on the pages of the booklet with short stories about perfume, etc. The booklet is in good condition with minimal wear. It's a great piece of perfume bottle history. It measures just over 4 inches tall by about 2 1/2 inches wide. The De Vilbiss company dates back to 1888 with atomizer bottles. I believe the company finally began producing perfume bottles in 1907. The fancy bottles shown here are probably from the 1920's or perhaps the early 1930's, during the Art Deco period of design.
