Being offered is a fine vintage pipe ashtray, of heavy amber-colored glass. Made in an era when pipe smoking was very popular...the maker obviously felt he had the unique and perfect design for the pipe smoker that he patented it...t is a mark imprinted in the glass with the date: Pat. 8-17-26. T are double pipe receptacles which removes the need for repositioning for use and a solid glass block section for holding a matchbox.
