This is, likely, a quilt made in the 1930's or 40's. It is a very old piece. The applique pattern is known as Dutch Tulip. The fabrics are all feed sack scraps. The batting is cotton. The sewing of the appliques and the quilting were done by hand.It measures 77" by 64" across, so it is a rather small quilt. It might fit a bed size twin. The one used for the photo session is a queen, 80" by 60".We combine shipping. On Jan-09-21 at 07:19:30 PST, seller added the following information:Please be advised that when we wrote "the one used for the photo session is a queen" we were referring to the bed, not to the quilt. The bed is a queen; the quilt is much smaller, and it probably would fit just a twin size bed, as indicated on "size".
