Rare cabinet card photograh of African American woman known only as Mrs. Pittiford (name handwritten on reverse). The photograph is in good condition with only minor surface imperfections from age and normal handling. Very nice embossing around picture oval. Photographer's name is embossed at lower right, Hayes Raliegh, N.C. Cabinet card measures approximately 3 X 4.25 inches. Photo in oval measures approximately 1.75 X 2.75.Please ask any questions before bidding.
