Cabinet Card Photo Span Am War Ft. Grant Officer House This auction is for an original 1800s Cabinet Card Photo relating to J.M. Carson Jr. It is in overall good condition as pictured with little wear. Two Officers pose with their wifes. There are also two dogs in the picture. Photographer is unknown. There are two other photos I have listed, that were taken at this same house. It measures about 12 by 10 inches. There is blue pen from a family member reading: probably Fort Grant 1895. One of the other photos says the house was in Fort Grant. More of brown tone in person, as florescent lighting/glares make it look a little white. Looks much better in person. Guaranteed original. This is one of SEVENTEEN Photos relating to Major John Miller Carson Jr. He was a West Point Graduate and was also a Brigidier General. There is plenty of information available via an internet search. All photos are military related in that they are of his military travels. There are many identified with locations and his name. There are many houses related to his locations and many great outdoor shots of West Point Photos, Indian Wars charging cavalry, camps, etc. Please see other auctions relating to him.
