"Born in Alexandria, Virginia in 1868, African American photographer Daniel Freeman (1868-1927) moved to Washington, DC to study drawing in the public schools there. He also studied photography under E.J. Pullman, and went into business in the nation's capital in 1885.Condition: Very good condition.
