Hi Collectors. Up for Auction is 0.02 gram fragment (20 milligrams) of the Cali Colombia #001 meteorite. This is a Rare Hammer Stone fragment from the original Cali Columbia #001 meteorite that struck a home in the Barrio Mariano Ramos neighborhood of Cali. The Cali Columbia #001 crashed completely through the roof of a house on July 6, 2007 at 4:30 P.M. It is believed to be an H type chondrite. It is believed the Cali Columbia #001 weighed about 65 to 80 grams. The total of all Cali Columbia meteorite is estimated to be less the 280 grams! Tfore t is very little of this meteorite available to the collecting community. This specimen also comes with a piece of roof tile (large square piece in the picture below the fragment) that the meteorite struck! Also included is an identification card protected in a vinyl sleeve. I will also include the original identification card from Michael Cottingham who I purchased this from. I will include 2 easels so you can easily display the specimen and card in your collection. I have moved up to a larger piece so this is now available to the highest bidder. Thanks goes out to Mike Farmer for traveling all the way to Cali Columbia to retrieve this Rare Fall. Thanks also to Michael Cottingham for purchasing a large piece of the Cali Columbia #001 from Mike Farmer and making it possible for us the little read more
