Celebration California Chrome is all the talk these days. He reminds us all of Secretariat, the big red colt and of Seabicuit, the horse from humble beginnings. He is a down home colt and the whole country is pulling for him to win the Triple Crown today. I'm posting this painting around 1pm central time and have no idea which horse will win the Belmont. But wouldn't it be grand if California Chrome did it? This country needs a champion to rally. This is an original oil painting done on an 18'' x 24'' gallery wrapped canvas. All sides have been painted and it is ready for display. Photos were difficult to get due to the high gloss of the varnish. This piece would make a great addition to any horse racing art collection.
