This auction is for a California drugstore/pharmacy bottle embossed..."NORMAL PHARMACY (script)/ OAKLAND, CAL." Bottle is clear. It has bevelled front corners, back corners rounded. Rect. in shape. It measures 5 5/8" tall. Bottle is in great shape, no cracks, scratches, or dings. Very clean glass. T is some very light haze & ground wear. Very clean. This is from the Bob Toynton collection. I have decided (very reluctantly) to part with the majority of my clear California drugstore bottles. I began collecting them in the middle 70's, and plan to keep only what I dug, & a few others. My original intent back then was to collect only colored Cal. drugstores. That is w I plan to concentrate from now on. I will be listing a group of bottles each week as time allows for several months. I worked closely with Bob Toynton during the 70's to advance this branch of collecting.
