Up for auction is a hard to find peice from the Caliente collection from Haldeman Potteries. This figure is of a bird on a square base. It is shown on page 22 of Wilbur Held " Collectable Caliente Pottery". This is a early peice. It measures 2" high and 3 1/2" long. It is in excellent vintage condition with no damage. It is glazed in a matte white glaze. The top of the bird has three light dots of green glaze. I suppose this happened in production. Thanks for looking. To us, MINT means that t are no signs of use or post-production damage. We will mention any obivous flaws or damage but expect the collector to be aware that most methods of production were not as advanced as they are now and items were sometimes less than perfect when they were made. To us that adds to the charm and authenticity of the item. WE ARE NOT EXPERTS, Please ask condition questions before bidding.
