Welcome to this auction for a little California pottery vase by the designer Lamar. The bottom is signed and also has Pat. Pend. on it. She is 5" tall and is wearing a yellow dress with white apron. She is carrying a pot in one hand that has the opening for the vase which is her full skirt. She has a blue bow in her brown hair and is holding a little blue bird in the other hand. Her facial details are sweet. T is crazing on the glaze which is normal for this era of California pottery. No cracks or chips however. I have found the matching little boy.....alas, he has been repaired at the neck. I will include him with this auction for no additional cost. Possibly you can tie a necktie around his neck?!? They are so cute together!
