Military Description: Presented for your consideration is this old panorama print of C amp Custer in Battle Creek, Michigan. Camp Custer is a federally o wned Army National Guard training facility in Michigan that opened in 1917 and is still operational today . It was also where the 85th Division, consisting of troops from Michigan and Wisconsin, was trained during World War I. This color print shows a ge neral view of the camp as well as the base hospital, red cross building, theat er and YMCA hut. This print is believed to be from the World War I era du e to the horse drawn wagons and the out fits the men are w earing in the print. The image is still crisp and the coloring is vibrant. Published by Funk Bros. in Battle Creek , Michigan. Would look great framed. Comes with its original mailing tube. A nice addition to yo ur collection! There a re four rips out of the bottom edge and there is some light staining on the right hand side and on the back. Minor wear around the edges. No significant tears.
