They feature engraved and painted flowers of Canada and hand-crafted creatures made of colored Venetian glass, the latter being famous for its fineness and diversity of brilliant colors. This colored silver coin is dedicated to a beautiful Water Lily and a Leopard Frog, one of Canada's most widespread amphibians.The portrait of Her Majesty Elizabeth II is represented on the obverse of this Canadian coin. Along the rim of the silver coin, there are the inscriptions indicating the Queen’s name and the Latin title standing for By the Grace of God, Queen.The reverse image renders the vibrant colors of the yellow pond lily (Nuphar variegatum) in full bloom with its outer cup-shaped petals spread to reveal a dazzling circular pattern of stamens inside.
