Canon Canonet QL17 G-III 35mm film rangefinder camera made in Japan. has Wide angle & fast 40/1.7 lens, metal body, not plastic. This has manual speed & auto diaphragms shutter, manual focus system. I have cleaned inside the finder and supplied some oil to shutter mechanism. All working very well and good appearance. Appearance : Good used condition as shown in auction pictures. Some rubb marks mainly at bottom plate. almost n o scratches, no dings, no dents, no bend. I rate in Excellent condition. Mechanic : Manual shutter and auto shutter and manual diaphram work well. Focus, Battery-checker, flash-synchro, hot shoe, Self-timer, work well. Lightmeter in the finder respond with change. ASA adjust works too. I think they are all correct . Some time error but usable, not serious error, Auto shutter is correct. I have replaced new light-shield sponges. Viewfinder: I have cleaned inside of the finder. One small scratches at inner glass. (but they will not affect to see) n o fungus, no foggs, no separations, very clean. Superimposed image is aligned and works well. Lens: CANON LENS 40mm f1.7 . I have cleaned inner elements. Some dust and little cleaning marks can be seen when see through bright light. Fungus trace at front element edge. (hard to see) no other fungus, no foggs, n o separations .
