The Canon T80, Canon's first auto-focus camera. The Canon T80 is also one of Canon's rarer cameras as well, being only produced from April 1985 to June 1986. The T80 is part of the "T" series of cameras that Canon produced towards the end of the 80's. The camera is fully compatible with any FD mount lens, (although without autofocus if it is not an FD AC mount). This Canon T80 is in a great condition for it's age. The lens is perfect, no scratches, fungus or dust to any of the lens elements and mechanically the lens also performs perfectly. The camera body itself is also great cosmetically and is perfectly operational. There is however some marking visible through the viewfinder, (see image seven) the mark itself appears to be on the prism and looks as if it is a residue from a material or glue that may have been used to light proof the prism and metering modules. It has no impact on on metering or on day to day functioning of the camera. It isn't even that noticeable while shooting as you often look beyond it while shooting. I have also uploaded a couple of sample images taken with this camera to show the excellent image quality that can be achieved withe the Canon T80. This camera also comes with a case and original manual and documentation. I prefer to only dispatch with Royal Mail Special Delivery as it is only guaranteed and trackable delivery method they offer. I will however pack the item securely with only new materials and have no additional charge for any materials used, the only carriage fee will be the one charged by Royal Mail.
