CANONFLEX + 50MM R F1.8 Canon's first SLR from 1959. The camera is clean and tidy and all appears to be in good working order. All speeds are working and seem fairly accurate, there are some cosmetic marks on the body, mostly superficial. There is a very slight indentation behind the left hand strap lug (looking face on), but minor, similar in a couple of areas on the base plate, once again only slight. Most metal surfaces have stood the test of time well and remain clean. The camera is not mint or near mint, but very good. The focus screen is good with some specks. The wind-on lever is underneath and appear to be in good working order and works very well. The Shutter blind is in excellent condition and doesn't stick. All the interior around the film chamber is very nice and clean. The Prism is removable and in good condition with some marks on the Apex. The lens is an R 50mm f1.8. It is in good working order and the glass is in very good clean shape with no significant dust. All used lenses have dust but in this case so minor as to be accademic. There are no scratches, any cleaning marks are so slight as to be virtually invisible, but one or two exist.....just. Therefore the front element does not bear any resemblance to an Ice Rink! As you rotate the focus, which is firm but smooth, you will notice about half a 'mm' of play which
