Not ancient, but done very nicely... comes this folk art with Pennsylvania style painted box or chest. Box has canted sides and looks like an old seaman's chest with rope handles. Painted in nice colors with items of fruit. Grain painted around base with a forest green foot. Signed on the bottom and dated on the sides, all shown in photos. Great little primitive with awesome original paint. 9 1/2 long, 5 deep by 4 tall.
