Hello and Welcome !!!A few facts....- Modern collectors rarely find the oldest of Capodimonte pieces. They do find mid-century electric lamps, figurines of varying quality, carefully molded flowers and other decorative objects made during the last century. These collectors often look for complete bouquets (no chipping or breakage) when ascertaining value of these modern pieces. One thing is certain - they are very passionate in their pursuits (I know I am one of them.) It is :-) - Most Capodimonte pieces are marked with some variation of the N under a crown mark. Therefore, I have for your consideration: A unique 17-1/2" high, double handled, capodimonte vase. I am moving and downsizing my collection. I have another similar vase, and only want to pack what is absolutely necessary. This vase has a background of ivory with brown glaze which highlighta the rim, large handles, smaller handles underneath, the"bowl", and footed base. The bouquet has yellow, pink and claret with green and yellowish leaves on either side. At the widest point, (large set of handles, across is 13". The "bowl" measures 7" across. The bouquet is flawless, without chips, cracks, etc. Needs mentioning: As with any handmade ceramics, porcelains, etc. not all can be perfect, but does not necessarily affect the overall quality.
