Up for auction is a Captain America 6 CGC SS 9.6 variant signed by the Winter Soldier himself, Sebastian Stan. This is the only one listed on ebay as well. This book contains the first appearance of the Winter Soldier and will play a key role in the Civil War film coming out soon. Just a little background information about this particular book, I stood in line at the Wizard World in Chicago for 2+ hours to get this book signed. The line was absolutely ridiculous and the employee's handling the line were extremely rude. They even threatened to have Sebastian not sign my book because I didn't purchase their VIP ticket. However, Sebastian stood up and grabbed the book and signed it for me because he knew the employee's were trying to rip me off. Wizard World is now asking $299.99 + $15 in fees per Stan's signature with their standard VIP ticket and wait for it...$999.99 + $50 in fees per signature for a VIP Platinum ticket under their pricing (see pics attached). This doesn't even include the regular admission or the CGC fees. The celebrity pricing is absolutely ludicrous and I have boycotted Wizard World ever since. Take my advice, buy it from anywhere else and save yourself the trouble from dealing with Wizard World directly. They're run by a bunch of cheap corporate thugs that are ripping fans off left and right and in my opinion, they're ruining the comic industry. I took photo's of the front and back to show you how amazing this is. I just got back a bunch of CGC books so please check out my other auctions and send me a message to discuss any offers or email me (located on my ebay "about me" profile) if you're interested in more than one or have a question about the price.I do not own a comic shop, I just collect comics for fun so like the other 99.9% of the population I am not a professional grader. However, I will do my best to describe the condition of the comics based on my 20+ years of collecting comics. I literally just got the book back from CGC this week so the case is pristine with the original sleeve and has no major dents or damage on it (please look at the pictures closely for more details or message me and I can send you Hi-Resolution photos). I personally hate it when I see pictures of comics from other sellers listed that still have the bag and board over it, I always list pictures that have nothing over them so you can see the actual items you will receive. It is not my fault if you receive the comic and it is not what you were expecting as you had a whole week to message me. All comics will be shipped, bagged, and boarded as the first pic displays what you will receive as I will ship them in a padded box. I have kept this in storage ever since I got as it comes from a smoke-free home.
