CAPTAIN ROCKET #1 RARE PRECODE SCIENCE FICTION COMIC BOOK PUBLISHED BY P.L. PUBLISHING (CANADA) - NOVEMBER 1951 (ONE SHOT) "WE MUST PREPARE FOR AN INVASION FROM MARS!" AURORA OF JUPITER! GORGEOUS WOMEN! GROTESQUE ALIEN MONSTERS! CLASSIC '50's SCIENCE FICTION! This auction is for CAPTAIN ROCKET #1 precode science fiction comic book, published by P.L. Publishing in November 1951. This hard to find comic book features beautiful artwork throughout. It originally sold for ten cents. Stories include: THE GRAVEYARD OF THE ROCKETEERS MONSTEROIDS OF THE UNDERWORLD THE SPACE FALCON IN 'PIRATE OF THE STRATOSP' AURORA OF JUPITER IN 'THE MAN WHO WANTED A WORLD' In addition, t are some great full page ads and a two page text story. Contents are complete with both covers attached to one another but separated from the contents. T is wear, creasing and small tears on both covers, especially along the edges and at the slightly rolled spine. T are ½" tears at the upper and lower spine, and a ½" tear on the front cover by the upper staple. The back cover has a few tears. The covers retain original gloss and the colors remain bright. Pages are light for their age. Actual scans are shown below. This would be a nice addition to your Science Fiction comic book collection! Shipping to be paid by buyer.
