Todays Auction is for (1) lightly used CAIRNS N5A NEW YORKER Leather Fire Helmet. The helmet is Natural (brown leather) in color with 3M Triple Stripe reflective tets on it. The helmet has seen light use, about only 4 fires and has no damage from them. The helmet was totally refurbished due to mildew in the original liner assembly, which involved having the leather refinished and a Totally New Interior installed in it including the brass eagle frontice holder with maltese cross insignia and brand new ratchet strap . The helmet still has original Carins stickers on it and inside it and does include the bourkes (eye shields) with it. The helmet does not come with a leather frontice as shown in the pictures, you can purchase your own to personalize it to your specs. The helmet it only 4yrs old with a manufacture date of 2/19/2004 and the size is LARGE. This has been my personal helmet since purchase and has only been used as a back-up helmet, That being said t are no problems with it and I am only selling because I need the money more than the helmet so my loss your gain.
