This beautiful Carlton Ware pedestal bowl dates from between 1906-1927. It is decorated in coloured enamels and gilt depicting a Chinoiserie pattern of pagodas and gardens. The base has the Carlton Ware Stoke on Trent mark and Kang Hsi Pattern Number 2021 Kang Hsi is a rare pattern and is one of Carlton Ware's cloisonné ranges. There are no chips, cracks or restoration. Very good condition for age - please see photographs. There are few rough firing marks in the inside of the bowl and some rubbing to the gilt edges. It measures 6inches/15cm high and the diameter of the top rim of the bowl is 5inches/13cm. Lovely collector's item.
