Carlton Ware Flies Pattern No 2134, Butterly and Moth Vase on Blue Lustre Ground I have on offer a delightful Carlton Ware Butterflies and Moth Lustre Vase - also known as Flies, pattern number 2134. C1910 - 1920's. Fabulous blue lustre decorated with intricate enamelled butterflies and moths. Stamped to base 2134 for pattern number, please note this does not have the Armand Backstamp as is common with these pieces, but has th W & R Carlton Ware Crown Backstamp, Not all of the Flies pattern bore the Armand backstamp. Backstamp was in use 1894 - 1927. Approx 26.5cm Tall. Its in overall good condition, although there are some areas of white spots under the glaze, that would have happened during the manufacturing process and can be clearly seen in the photo's, these are mentioned for accuracy and don't detract from this beautiful vase.
