Madame Alexander composition doll CARMEN MIRANDA 14" size. She's a rarer find, Doll reference states she was only made between 1941-42. Especially with a intact costume! She has the Wendy face and is marked on the back of the neck. This doll is not mint, but very nice considering she's a 30's-40's era doll. The real Carmen Miranda is pictured. She has very little crazing. The only things I find are a light line above the right eye, the normal joint rubs, and a bit of finish loss on her foot. No chipped fingers or toes. Her Black mohair wig is intact and still in the bun in back. Her head-dress has the fruit and feather plume still intact as well as the hoop earrings. She wears all her original beads. Gold shoes are good. The original factory costume has a vintage look and feel. I'd say it has a bit of display aging. However it is intact and so are the snaps. No holes or seam issues. She has crystal clear blue sleep eyes with all of her lashes. Her features remain complete. Nice doll! Insurance will be included in the priority shipping.Please look at all the pictures.
