Carnival Glass Northwood Glass co. early 1900's "Thin Rib" 9 ribs Swung Vase Emerald Green Marked "Underline N in a Cricle" Measures: 9 1/4 inches tall, base is alittle over 3 1/2 inches across. This pattern is found on the exterior and consists of thin rod-type ribs and wider smooth panels, this pattern is called "Thin Ribs" made by Northwood glass co.production begun in the early 1900's. This vase I am selling has 9 ribs, it is considered to be a standard size vase. The base color looks to me like Emerald green, a rich green color with beautfiul iridescence colors of marigold, blue, teal, purple, violet and gold. The iridescence is mostly on the upper portion of the vase inside the interior only(see Photos) T is a starburst bottom, inside the bottom base is the Northwood logo"Underline N in a ciricle" it is alittle bit faded. As with any antique or vintage glass the vase does have bubbles, mold seams and starwlines. This is consider factory flaws not damage. The vase is in Excellent condition, t are no cracks, no chips! T is a flea bite on the side, very hard to notice. T is some rub wear on the iridescent mid-section inside the vase, this is natural wear from many years of use. Still displays very nice! Very Beautiful! If you have any questions please ask! Thank you for looking!
