CAROUSEL MERRY-GOROUND BAND ORGAN RARE ANTIQUE ELECTRIC ITEM A perfect merry-go-round band organ for amusement center, mall fun center, museum, or collector. A âeoecircusyâe, very nice arrangement of 42 wooden flute pipes (which give a very rich and warm tonal quality). Originated in Iowa amusement park. Custom made to play the popular Wurlitzer rolls. Maker is unknown 1970-1975. In playing condition; Case quality: very good; electrically operated blower and mechanical system 110 volts. If desired, instrument can be converted to coin operated play with minor modifications by new owner. Instrument is capped with a wooden head piece, backed with automated 2 drums and cymbal. Decorative scroll wood work on head piece and cabinet are trimmed in bright gold leaf. Main cabinet case has a centered, front red sound fabric screen to shroud the internal mechanical works and flute pipes. Outside case is constructed of mahogany stained, finished woodwork. Percussion display at top is a Remo 14âe snare drum, 20âe base drum, and 10âe cymbal.
